Bobcat TL358 Specifications
The Bobcat TL358 telehandler is a compact, highly
maneuverable, and rugged telescopic handler engineered for construction sites,
agricultural facilities, industrial yards, and materials-handling applications
where stability, visibility, and reliability are essential. With a rated lifting
capacity of 2,600 kg (5,732 lb), the TL358 occupies the mid-capacity segment of
Bobcat’s telehandler range and provides an excellent balance of power, lifting
height, compact machine geometry, and fast hydraulic response.
Operators value the TL358 for its smooth
hydrostatic driveline, low-effort steering, strong breakout force, clean
cab ergonomics, and excellent overall visibility. Its compact width and
tight turning radius allow navigation in confined areas where larger
machines cannot operate effectively.
The TL358 supports a maximum lift height of approximately 5.8 m (19.0
ft) and a forward reach of roughly 3.0 m (9.8 ft). These parameters make
it suitable for pallet-handling tasks, bale movement, bucket loading,
and general duty material handling across a broad range of industries.
Two engine options were offered across its production cycles: the
Perkins 1104D-44TA and the Deutz TCD 3.6 L4.
Both engines deliver strong torque in the
low-rpm range required for hydrostatic drive operation and high-flow
hydraulic work. The Perkins engine represents classic mechanical diesel
engineering with outstanding field reliability, while the Deutz engine
introduces a more modern common-rail fuel system that improves fuel
economy and emissions performance.
The Perkins 1104D-44TA is a 4-cylinder, 4-stroke
turbocharged and intercooled diesel engine widely used in industrial and
agricultural equipment.
