Toyota 02-7FGF30 Specifications
The Toyota 02-7FGF30 is an LPG-powered forklift that
delivers solid performance and incorporates numerous advanced safety features.
Its core appeal lies in its robust Toyota 4Y engine, known for its reliability
and efficiency in LPG operation. The machine is equipped with Toyota's System of
Active Stability (SAS), which is a hallmark of the brand, continuously
monitoring and enhancing vehicle stability during operation.
Operator comfort and safety are further addressed by features such as the
Operator Presence Sensing (OPS) system, the Operator Restraint System (ORS)
seat, and a memory tilt steering column. The 02-7FGF30 offers competitive travel
and lift speeds, contributing to efficient workflow cycles in its class.
This model features a standard 2-stage, high-visibility mast. It is equipped
with pneumatic tires, providing good traction and shock absorption for various
indoor and outdoor surfaces. The base specifications include a load capacity of
3,000 kg at a 500 mm load centre. The truck's design integrates Toyota's SAS,
which actively contributes to its stability and safe operation.
The distance from the centre of the drive axle to the fork face measures 485 mm,
or 19.1 inches, with a wheelbase of 1,700 mm, which is 66.9 inches. The total
truck weight in working order is 4,340 kg, or 9,568 lbs. When fully laden, the
axle load distribution places 6,430 kg, or 14,176 lbs, on the front axle and 910
kg, or 2,006 lbs, on the rear axle. When unladen, the front axle load 1,690 kg,
or 3,726 lbs, and the rear axle load 2,650 kg, or 5,842 lbs.
The main component of the Toyota 02-7FGF30 is the
Toyota 4Y engine, a powerplant specifically calibrated for LPG fuel. It is a
four-cylinder petrol-derived engine with a total displacement of 2,237 cc, which
converts to 136.5 cubic inches. This engine produces a rated power of 40 kW
according to ISO 1585 standards, equivalent to 53.6 Hp, achieving this output at
a governed rated speed of 2,600 rpm.
The engine incorporates a pressure-fed lubrication system with a gear-type oil
pump, ensuring all moving components receive adequate oil flow. Cooling is
managed by a liquid-cooled system, comprising a radiator, water pump, and
thermostat, to maintain optimal operating temperatures under continuous use in
forklift applications.
Transmission: It is fitted with a Powershift
transmission, which allows for smooth direction changes without clutching. This
transmission features a single gear for both forward and reverse operations.
Travel Speed: The forklift achieves a laden travel speed of 18.5 kph, or 11.5
mph, and an unladen travel speed of 19 kph, or 11.8 mph.
Axles: The drive axle is located at the front, featuring a hypoid gear final
drive. The steer axle is at the rear and is of a heavy-duty design.
Brakes: The service brake system is hydraulic, operating on the front drive
wheels. An independent, mechanically actuated parking brake is also provided.
The electrical system is designed to support the
engine, lighting, and safety features of the forklift. It operates on a 12-volt
architecture, with a 12-volt, 70-amp alternator and a 12-volt, 65-amp-hour
battery as standard equipment. The machine includes operator presence sensing
technology integrated into its safety systems. The system powers the starter
motor, ignition system for the LPG engine, and essential lighting components
including headlights, tail lights, and turn indicators for safe operation.
The chassis forms the robust foundation of the
forklift, supporting all major components. It is constructed from heavy-gauge
steel plate for maximum durability.
Wheels and Tires: The 02-7FGF30 is equipped with pneumatic tires.
Front: 28x9-15-12PR (I), with a diameter of 28 inches and a width of 9 inches.
Rear: 6.50-10-10PR (I), with a diameter of 6.50 inches and a width of 10 inches.
Wheel Tread:
Front: 1,010 mm, or 39.8 inches.
Rear: 965 mm, or 38.0 inches.
Drive Configuration: The vehicle has a 2-wheel drive configuration, with the two
front wheels being the driven wheels.
Steering: The steering system on the Toyota 02-7FGF30 is hydraulically assisted,
providing the operator with smooth and effortless control, especially during
low-speed maneuvering and in tight spaces. The system is a full hydrostatic
power steering type, meaning there is no mechanical linkage between the steering
wheel and the rear steer axle. The steering column is equipped with a memory
tilt function, allowing operators to adjust the steering wheel to their
preferred position and easily return to it, enhancing comfort and productivity
during shifts.
The hydraulic system powers the lifting, tilting, and
any auxiliary functions. It utilizes a gear-type pump for reliability and
efficiency. The system operates at a pressure of 147 bar, or 2,132 psi, for
attachment functions. The main hydraulic pump has a rated flow of 69 lpm, which
is 18.2 gpm, ensuring responsive lift and tilt speeds. The mast tilts forward by
6 degrees and backward by 10 degrees to facilitate load handling and secure
transport.
