Komatsu FD20-7 Specifications
The Komatsu FD20-7 is a 2.0-ton (2,000 kg / 4,400 lb)
diesel pneumatic-tire forklift widely recognized for its rugged construction,
reliability, and low operating cost. Part of Komatsu’s proven -7 Series, the
FD20-7 remains a highly capable industrial machine used extensively in
warehouses, construction supply yards, agricultural operations, manufacturing
plants, fabrication shops, and general-purpose indoor-outdoor logistics.
Two diesel engine options were equipped on FD20-7: Isuzu C240 - 2.4L
mechanically injected diesel with strong durability. Isuzu 4JG2 - 3.1L
higher-output diesel with improved torque and efficiency.
The FD20-7 integrates a welded heavy-steel chassis, torque-converter powershift
transmission, hydrostatic steering, load-sensing hydraulics, and a reinforced
mast system. Operator comfort is supported through wide visibility, ergonomic
control levers, low vibration, and reliable mechanical layout.
