JCB 508C Specifications
The JCB 508C Loadall is a heavy-duty, high-capacity
telescopic handler designed for construction, industrial material handling,
infrastructure projects, and demanding rental fleet applications where increased
lift capacity and extended reach are required.
Positioned above the 506C and 506C HL, the 508C
delivers significantly higher payload capability while retaining the
maneuverability and mechanical simplicity characteristic of JCB’s
rigid-frame Loadall machines.
With a maximum rated capacity of 8,000 lb (3,636 kg), a maximum lift
height of approximately 41 ft 6 in (12.6 m), and a maximum forward reach
of 27 ft 4 in (8.3 m), the 508C is well suited for handling heavier
loads at height, including palletized construction materials, steel
components, trusses, and bulk materials when fitted with approved
attachments.
The machine incorporates the JCB Dieselmax
turbocharged engine, a robust syncro-shuttle or optional powershift
transmission, permanent four-wheel drive, epicyclic axles, and a
high-capacity hydraulic system. Designed in compliance with ANSI and
ASME B56.6 stability standards, the 508C emphasizes safety, durability,
predictable load handling, and long-term serviceability.
The JCB 508C is powered by a JCB Dieselmax
four-cylinder turbocharged industrial diesel engine, designed for high torque
output, low fuel consumption, and reliable operation under continuous load
conditions.
