JCB 520-40 Specifications
The JCB 520-40 Loadall is the largest and most powerful
model in JCB’s compact Loadall range, designed to deliver maximum lift capacity
and strong loading performance while retaining a low overall height and
exceptional maneuverability. Developed for demanding construction, agricultural,
industrial, and rental fleet applications, the 520-40 is intended for operators
who require higher payload handling in confined or restricted-height
environments without stepping up to a full-size telehandler.
With a maximum rated payload of 2,000 kg (4,409 lb), a maximum lift height of
4.0 m (13 ft 1 in), and a forward reach of around 2.7 m (8 ft 10 in), the 520-40
provides a significant increase in lifting capability over the 515-40 and 516-40
models. The innovative offset single-spine chassis allows the cab to be
positioned low, keeping the overall machine height below 2.0 m while maintaining
a spacious, comfortable operator environment with excellent visibility.
The 520-40 is powered by a robust Deutz industrial diesel engine and features a
hydrostatic transmission with permanent four-wheel drive and four-wheel
steering. A high-capacity hydraulic system, reinforced high-tensile steel boom,
and JCB tool carrier interface allow the machine to perform loader, forklift,
and telehandler duties efficiently.
Designed to meet ISO and ANSI/ITSDF safety
standards, the 520-40 emphasizes stability, reliability, ease of
maintenance, and low total cost of ownership, making it a highly
versatile compact Loadall for intensive daily use.
The JCB 520-40 is powered by a Deutz four-cylinder
industrial diesel engine designed for high torque output, durability, and
consistent performance in compact material-handling machinery.
