Clark GTS25D Specifications
The Clark GTS25D is a diesel-powered forklift that
delivers a compelling balance of power, durability, and efficiency for material
handling operations. Its core strength lies in the proven Yanmar 4TNE94L diesel
engine, a four-cylinder powerplant providing dependable torque and reliability
for continuous use, meeting all EU exhaust gas emission Stage IIIA regulations.
Operator comfort and safety are prioritized through features like hydrostatic
power steering that eliminates steering kick-back, making steering easy and
reaching full lock with just a few turns of the steering wheel.
The steering axle has pivotal bearings mounted in rubber steel elements, with
spherical bearing mounted short tie rods that are adjustment free and guarantee
precise and continuous driving in a straight line. The double acting steer
cylinder ensures precise and direct steering. The GTS25D is designed for
productive operation across various applications with low operating costs.
This model is equipped with clear-view uprights available in Standard, Hilo, and
Triplex versions. It rolls on heavy-duty pneumatic tires. The distance from the
centre of the drive axle to the fork face is 17.9 in (455 mm). The wheelbase is
63.8 in (1,620 mm). The total service weight of the truck is 8,470 lb (3,840
kg). When fully laden, the axle load distribution places 12,020 lb (5,450 kg) on
the front axle and 1,960 lb (890 kg) on the rear axle. In an unladen state, the
front axle load 3,250 lb (1,476 kg), and the rear axle load approximately 5,210
lb (2,364 kg). The overhead guard height is 85.4 in (2,170 mm). The seat height
is 48.0 in (1,219 mm). The coupling height is 14.2 in (360 mm).
The Clark GTS25D is powered by the Yanmar 4TNE94L
diesel engine, a robust and reliable powerplant specifically designed for
industrial operation. It is a four-cylinder engine with a total displacement of
186 cu in (3,053 cc). This engine produces a rated power of 46.0 hp (34.3 kW) at
2,200 rpm.
The engine meets all EU exhaust gas emission Stage IIIA regulations. Lubrication
is provided by a pressure-fed system ensuring all moving components are
adequately lubricated. Cooling is managed by a liquid-cooled system designed to
maintain optimal operating temperatures. The engine air filter must be cleaned
or replaced according to the manufacturer's schedule.
Transmission: It is fitted with a HY-type powershift
automatic transmission with gearbox oil cooling. Transmission type is HY. The
transmission fluid should be checked and changed at prescribed intervals.
Travel Speed: The forklift achieves a laden travel speed of 13.9 mph (22.4 km/h)
and an unladen travel speed of 12.9 mph (20.7 km/h).
Axles: The drive axle is located at the front. The rear steer axle is robust
with pivotal bearings mounted in rubber steel elements. Drive axle fluid should
be changed at 2,000 hour intervals.
Brakes: The service brake system utilizes wet disc brakes. Maintenance includes
checking brake condition and wear.
The electrical system is engineered to reliably support
the engine, safety features, and lighting. It operates on a standard 12-volt
architecture. The system powers the starter motor, engine control systems, and
all essential lighting components for safe operation. Daily maintenance includes
checking warning lights and hour meter operation.
The chassis provides a rigid and durable foundation,
constructed from heavy-gauge steel with fully welded frame construction to
support all major components under load stress. Wheels and Tires: The GTS25D is
fitted with pneumatic tires with 2 front and 2 rear wheels.
Front: 7.00 x 12 - 14 PR
Rear: 6.00 x 9 - 10 PR
Track Width:
Front: 39.2 in (996 mm) standard, up to 47.4 in (1,204 mm)
Rear: 35.6 in (904 mm)
Drive Configuration: The vehicle utilizes a 2-wheel drive configuration, with
the two front wheels serving as the driven wheels.
The steering system on the Clark GTS25D is a hydrostatic power steering system
that eliminates steering kick-back, making steering easy and reaching full lock
with just a few turns of the steering wheel. The steering axle has pivotal
bearings mounted in rubber steel elements. The spherical bearing mounted short
tie rods are adjustment free and guarantee precise and continuous driving in a
straight line. The double acting steer cylinder ensures precise and direct
steering. Daily maintenance includes checking steering operation.
The hydraulic system is responsible for powering the
lifting, tilting, and any auxiliary functions. A full-flow reverse filter
filters the oil to the tank at each reverse flow. Rough particles are filtered
directly via a suction filter, thereby preventing them from entering the oil
circuit, ensuring a long service life for all hydraulic components. A
high-capacity pump provides adequate oil supply for the upright and the
hydrostatic steering. A priority distributor ensures steering priority in all
conditions. Load handling is controlled via a load sensitive-response and
precise control valve.
A safety valve provides extra safety and prevents an uncontrolled lowering of
the load at all times. The system operating pressure for attachments is up to
2,030 psi (140 bar). The main hydraulic pump has a rated flow of up to 9.2 gpm
(35 L/min) for attachments. Maintenance includes changing or replacing the
hydraulic sump oil filter and breather, and changing hydraulic sump fluid at
prescribed intervals. The mast tilts forward by 6 degrees and backward by 10
degrees.
