Bobcat V518 Specifications
The Bobcat V518 telehandler is a compact, powerful, and
versatile material-handling machine designed to operate in construction,
agriculture, industrial logistics, municipal services, and rental applications.
With a rated lifting capacity of 2500 kg (5,512 lb) and a maximum lifting height
of approximately 5.6 meters (18.3 ft), the V518 provides a combination of reach,
maneuverability, stability, and attachment compatibility not typically found in
machines of similar size.
Known as the VersaHandler V518 in earlier model
years, it is designed to perform tasks typically handled by forklifts,
compact wheel loaders, and small-scale telehandlers while delivering
excellent visibility, predictable handling, and dependable performance.
The V518 was produced with two proven Perkins diesel engine options:
Perkins 1104C-44T or Perkins 1004-40T. Both engines are well known for
their durability, mechanical simplicity, strong low-rpm torque output,
and excellent serviceability. Their robust torque curves support lifting
heavy loads at height, operating hydraulic attachments, and providing
stable power during travel on uneven terrain. With permanent four-wheel
drive, three steering modes, a strong hydrostatic transmission, and a
reinforced structural frame, the V518 excels in confined spaces and job
sites requiring both agility and lifting strength.
The machine is compatible with Bob-Tach and Power Quick-Tach attachment
systems, enabling operators to switch between pallet forks, buckets,
grapples, bale spikes, sweepers, augers, and numerous other tools.
Compact dimensions, intuitive operator controls, and minimal maintenance
demands make the V518 a highly productive multi-role telehandler
suitable for daily professional use.
The V518 telehandler was produced with two Perkins
diesel engines, each selected for reliability, power, and low fuel consumption.
