The Caterpillar DP25NT is a 2.5-ton (2,500 kg / 5,500
lb) diesel pneumatic-tire forklift designed for intensive indoor-outdoor
industrial material-handling operations. Built on Caterpillar’s NT-Series
platform, the DP25NT emphasizes reliability, high torque at low engine speed,
strong hydraulic performance, excellent visibility, and low operating cost.
It is ideal for construction-material
distribution, metal fabrication shops, lumber yards, warehouse
operations, manufacturing facilities, farming/industrial yards, and
multi-shift outdoor applications. At the core of the DP25NT is the
Mitsubishi S4S industrial diesel engine, a proven 3.3-liter naturally
aspirated four-cylinder engine known for exceptional durability, fuel
efficiency, and smooth torque characteristics.
This forklift integrates a reinforced
welded-steel chassis, industrial powershift transmission, hydrostatic
steering, high-visibility mast architecture, strong hydraulic system,
and service-friendly component placement. Its vibration-isolated
operator compartment, ergonomically arranged controls, and stable
counterbalance design contribute to safe and predictable handling in all
loading scenarios.
The DP25NT is equipped with the Mitsubishi S4S diesel
engine.
