Cat DP45N Specifications
The Caterpillar DP45N is a heavy-duty 4.5-ton (4,500 kg
/ 9,920 lb) diesel pneumatic-tire forklift engineered for intensive industrial
workloads requiring high torque output, strong structural durability, stable
high-lift performance, and endurance across multi-shift operations.
Designed for construction-material yards, steel
fabrication sites, sawmills, heavy manufacturing, shipping terminals,
and outdoor logistics environments, the DP45N integrates a reinforced
chassis, high-capacity mast assemblies, robust driveline components, and
reliable hydraulic performance.
Two engine configurations are available: the Mitsubishi D04EG-T
turbocharged diesel engine and the Perkins 854F high-efficiency diesel
engine. Both engines provide excellent low-RPM torque, efficient fuel
consumption, and long service life under demanding forklift duty cycles.
The DP45N benefits from an industrial
powershift transmission, hydrostatic steering, enhanced cooling systems,
vibration isolation, and simplified maintenance access. Operators gain
improved visibility, refined controls, comfortable seating, and
predictable handling characteristics, while technicians appreciate the
wide-opening engine covers, centralized filters, durable electrical
systems, and long maintenance intervals.
The DP45N supports
