The Caterpillar DP50NT is a high-capacity 5.0-ton
(5,000 kg / 11,000 lb) diesel pneumatic-tire forklift engineered for tough
industrial environments requiring strong low-RPM torque, long-duration
endurance, and stable heavy-load handling. As part of Caterpillar’s advanced
NT-Series, the DP50NT is designed for steel processing yards, large
construction-material depots, timber mills, manufacturing plants, brick/block
operations, and multi-shift outdoor logistics.
Power is supplied by the Mitsubishi S6S industrial diesel engine—a 5.0-liter,
naturally aspirated inline-6 engine known globally for exceptional reliability,
low operating cost, long service life, smooth running, and strong torque
plateau. The DP50NT also incorporates a reinforced heavy-duty chassis,
high-capacity industrial mast assemblies, a robust powershift transmission,
hydrostatic steering, a load-sensing hydraulic system, and excellent service
access.
The ergonomically refined operator station includes a low-vibration suspended
seat, simplified multi-function levers, wide floor space, anti-slip steps, and
clear forward visibility through the mast. Maintenance is simplified through a
wide-opening engine hood, grouped service points, protected harness routing, and
durable hoses and cylinders.
