The Caterpillar GP20K is a compact 2.0-ton (2,000 kg /
4,400 lb) LPG/petrol-powered pneumatic-tire forklift designed for
light-to-medium industrial material-handling applications. Positioned within
Caterpillar’s K-series internal-combustion lineup, the GP20K provides excellent
maneuverability, dependable lifting capability, and low operating costs across
multi-shift operations.
It is widely used in warehouses, small-scale
industrial plants, fabrication shops, distribution areas, commercial
storage facilities, and mixed indoor/outdoor logistics environments.
Powered by the Mitsubishi 4G63 industrial spark-ignition engine, the
GP20K delivers smooth throttle response, reliable torque delivery, low
vibration, and favorable fuel economy.
The forklift integrates a rigid welded-steel
chassis, an industrial powershift transmission, hydrostatic steering, a
high-visibility mast design, and a balanced counterweight configuration.
The GP20K’s compact wheelbase and narrow frame enhance maneuverability
in confined aisles while maintaining excellent stability at full lift
height. The design emphasizes mechanical simplicity, durability,
operator comfort, and ease of maintenance.
The Caterpillar GP20K is equipped with the Mitsubishi
4G63 industrial engine.
