Cat GP25N5 Specifications
The Caterpillar GP25N5 is a modern 2.5-ton (2,500 kg /
5,500 lb) LPG/petrol pneumatic-tire forklift engineered for high-productivity
industrial environments requiring balanced load capacity, stable dynamic
behavior, clean emissions, and low operating cost. As part of the latest
N-Series 5th-generation internal-combustion (IC) models, the GP25N5 improves
upon the previous GP25N platform with refinements to ergonomics, engine
performance, vibration isolation, hydraulic responsiveness, and maintenance
accessibility.
Equipped with two proven spark-ignition engine options—the Nissan K21 LE and the
GST GK21E—the GP25N5 ensures reliable torque delivery, smooth acceleration,
quiet operation, and excellent low-RPM power characteristics ideal for forklift
duty cycles. The chassis integrates an optimized counterweight profile, a
reinforced mast and carriage system, a load-sensing hydraulic circuit, a compact
wheelbase, and a fully hydrostatic steering system.
The operator compartment features improved
visibility, enhanced pedal ergonomics, wide-opening engine covers,
vibration-isolated mounts, and an intuitive control layout. Technicians
benefit from centralized filters, simplified diagnostic access, improved
routing of electrical and hydraulic lines, and long component life.
The GP25N5 can be
equipped with one of two 4-cylinder spark-ignition engines:
- Nissan K21 LE - LPG/Petrol
- GST GK21E - LPG only
Both engines belong to the K-Series industrial family widely used in forklifts
due to their long service life, excellent reliability, smooth torque curves, and
low emissions.
