Cat GP30N Specifications
The Caterpillar GP30N is a 3.0-ton (3,000 kg / 6,600
lb) class LPG/petrol-powered pneumatic-tire forklift engineered for
medium-to-heavy industrial workloads requiring strong acceleration, smooth
hydraulic control, and high reliability across multi-shift operations.
Positioned between the GP25N and GP35N models, the GP30N is widely used in
fabrication facilities, hardware distribution centers, construction-material
yards, logistics terminals, manufacturing plants, and mixed indoor-outdoor
industrial sites.
This configuration supports two spark-ignition industrial engines: the Nissan
K25 LE and the GST GK25E. Both 2.5-liter engines are refined versions of the
K-series engine family and deliver higher torque output than their 2.1-liter
counterparts (K21/GK21). These engines offer excellent throttle response, low
vibration, moderate noise levels, and high durability under constant stop-and-go
forklift cycles.
The GP30N features a reinforced welded chassis, hydrostatic power steering,
durable mast channels, a load-sensing hydraulic system, strong drum-brake or
optional wet-disc braking, and a compact wheelbase suitable for maneuvering in
tight aisles while still providing stable high-lift performance. The GP30N is
widely regarded for low cost of ownership, ease of service access, dependable
drivetrain architecture, and strong mid-range torque that supports quick,
consistent load handling.
