Cat GP35N Specifications
The Caterpillar GP35N is a 3.5-ton (3,500 kg / 7,700
lb) class LPG/petrol-powered pneumatic-tire forklift engineered for
medium-to-heavy industrial material-handling environments requiring strong
lifting power, stable chassis performance, excellent operator comfort, and
long-term dependability. Positioned above the GP30N and below the GP40N, the
GP35N is intended for applications involving dense palletized cargo, building
materials, steel and fabrication loads, heavy manufacturing workflows, logistics
yards, lumber operations, and demanding multi-shift warehouse environments.
The GP35N supports two engine configurations: the Nissan K25 LE and the GST
GK25E. Both are 2.5-liter spark-ignition industrial engines designed for high
torque, low vibration, smooth acceleration, and reliable combustion under
constant load cycling. The forklift features a heavy reinforced chassis, a
robust industrial powershift transmission, high-visibility mast architecture,
hydrostatic steering, and durable drum or optional wet-disc braking systems. Its
design prioritizes predictable load behavior, excellent forward visibility,
efficient service access, and low operating cost—making the GP35N one of the
most widely used models in mixed indoor/outdoor industrial fleets.
The Caterpillar
GP35N offers two spark-ignition engine options:
- Nissan K25 LE (LPG or Petrol)
- GST GK25E (LPG only)
Both are 2.5-liter industrial SI engines optimized for forklift duty cycles
requiring steady torque and rapid response at low RPM.
