Cat GP45N1 Specifications
The Caterpillar GP45N1 is a 4.5-ton (4,500 kg / 9,920
lb) LPG/petrol-powered pneumatic-tire forklift designed for demanding industrial
operations requiring high torque output, robust driveline performance, excellent
mast stability, and multi-shift durability. Positioned within Caterpillar’s
updated N1-Series, the GP45N1 is engineered for steel-handling facilities,
wood-processing yards, distribution centers, heavy manufacturing plants,
high-duty warehouses, freight terminals, and general outdoor material-handling
applications.
Two engine configurations are available: Nissan TB45K - A rugged 4.5-liter
inline-6 industrial spark-ignition engine. GCT GK45 - A modern 4.5-liter
electronic-fuel-injection LPG engine known for smooth power delivery, clean
combustion, and long-duty reliability.
The GP45N1 integrates an enhanced heavy-duty chassis, upgraded mast channels,
industrial powershift transmission, hydrostatic steering, advanced cooling
capacity, and a load-sensing hydraulic system. Its operator compartment features
ergonomic lever placement, wide visibility, reduced vibration exposure,
suspension seating, and streamlined controls. Maintenance personnel benefit from
wide hood access, centralized filter locations, robust wiring, and simplified
hydraulic servicing.
