Cat GP50N Specifications
The Caterpillar GP50N is a heavy-duty 5.0-ton (5,000 kg
/ 11,000 lb) LPG/petrol-powered pneumatic-tire forklift engineered for intensive
industrial environments requiring high torque, consistent multi-shift
performance, rugged structural durability, and smooth drivetrain behavior under
maximum-rated loads. As a premium member of the Caterpillar GPN-Series, the
GP50N is designed for lumber yards, commercial distribution warehouses, steel
fabrication plants, freight terminals, industrial manufacturing operations,
block/brick yards, and general-purpose high-capacity material handling.
Two engine options are available: Nissan GK45K - a robust 4.5-liter industrial
V6 spark-ignition engine known for excellent torque output, smooth operation,
and long mechanical life. PSI 4X - a modern industrial 4.3-liter V6 LPG engine
optimized for performance, low emissions, reduced fuel consumption, and strong
low-RPM torque characteristics.
The forklift integrates a reinforced steel chassis, high-capacity mast
structures, an industrial powershift transmission, hydrostatic steering, and a
heavy-duty load-sensing hydraulic system. Operator comfort is enhanced through a
spacious compartment, wide visibility, ergonomic placement of hydraulic levers,
stable suspension seat, clear instrumentation, and vibration-isolating engine
mounts. Maintenance staff benefit from simplified service access,
high-durability wiring harnesses, centralized filters, wide-opening engine
covers, and long service intervals.
