Cat P4000 Specifications
The Cat P4000 is a 4,000 lb (2,000 kg) capacity
pneumatic tire forklift powered by a gasoline or LPG engine. This four-wheel,
sit-down counterbalanced truck is designed for indoor and outdoor material
handling applications where versatility and maneuverability are required. Power
is provided by a Nissan K25 engine, generating 63 hp (47.0 kW), mated to a
single-speed powershift transmission enabling travel speeds up to 11.5 mph (18.5
km/h) and lift speeds reaching 130 fpm (650 mm/s).
The truck features a standard two-stage mast
providing 131.0 in (3,340 mm) of maximum fork height with 5.5 in (140
mm) of free lift. Optional three-stage mast configurations offer lift
heights up to 187 in (4,750 mm) with integrated side-shift capability.
The P4000 incorporates pneumatic tires suitable for varied surfaces,
with 7.00x12-12PR front tires and 6.00x9-10PR rear tires. Additional
features include hydraulic power steering and a spacious operator
compartment.
