Clark GCX20 Specifications
The Clark GCX20 is a compact, cushion-tire
internal-combustion forklift designed for high-productivity indoor
material-handling environments such as warehouses, assembly plants, distribution
centers, and industrial production facilities. With a nominal lift capacity of
2,000 kg (4,000 lb) at a 610 mm (24 in) load center, the GCX20 occupies the
mid-range capacity class for cushion-tire trucks and is engineered to deliver
stable handling, precise load control, and dependable long-term durability.
The forklift maintains exceptional
maneuverability in confined spaces due to its compact wheelbase, short
turning radius, and low chassis height, making it suitable for
high-density racking, dock operations, and production-line logistics.
The GCX20 can be equipped with either the Mitsubishi 2.6-liter
industrial LPG/Gasoline engine or the Continental TM27 2.7-liter
LPG/Gasoline industrial engine. Both engines are designed specifically
for industrial applications requiring continuous operation, smooth
torque delivery at low to mid RPM ranges, efficient fuel consumption,
and high reliability under repetitive stop-and-go cycles.
The GCX20 employs a robust powershift
transmission, heavy-duty cast-steel drive axle, hydrostatic steering
system, and high-visibility mast configurations aimed at optimizing
operator control, load stability, and long-term service life. A
reinforced steel chassis, simplified maintenance access, and
industrial-grade hydraulic system allow the GCX20 to perform reliably
under multi-shift operations in demanding indoor work environments.
The Clark GCX20 is offered with two industrial engine
options, each designed for LPG or gasoline operation depending on regional
emissions standards and application requirements. Both engines emphasize low
vibration, long service life, and stable performance during repetitive lift
cycles.
