Basic Technical Data: The forklift is powered by the
Yanmar 4TNE94L engine, a four-cylinder diesel unit meeting EU Stage IIIA
emission standards. With a displacement of 3053 cc or 186 cu.in, this engine
produces 34.3 kW or 46.0 hp of power at a rated speed of 2200 rpm. In other
version, the forklift can equipped with HMC engine with 47.8 kW and 2.199 l
displacement for different model years. The Yanmar engine is known for its
durability and reliable performance in demanding applications. The maximum
climbing ability is 25.2 percent.
Lubrication: The engine lubrication system is a forced-feed type, employing a
gear pump to circulate oil throughout the engine block and cylinder head,
ensuring all moving components are adequately lubricated for reduced friction
and prolonged engine life. The system includes a full-flow oil filter to remove
contaminants. The hydraulic system features a full-flow reverse filter that
filters the oil to the tank at each reverse flow, with rough particles filtered
directly via a suction filter, preventing them from entering the oil circuit and
ensuring a long service life for all hydraulic components.
Cooling: Engine temperature is regulated by a liquid cooling system. This system
comprises a radiator, a water pump, a thermostat, and a cooling fan. The water
pump circulates coolant through the engine jackets to absorb heat, which is then
dissipated as it passes through the radiator core.
Transmission: The Clark GTS30D is equipped with a
hydrostatic transmission (HY). This transmission type allows for smooth and
efficient power delivery with infinite speed control, reducing operator fatigue
during frequent shuttling. Some sources indicate torque converter transmission
for specific model years.
Travel Speed: The forklift achieves a laden travel speed of 23.6 km/h or 14.7
mph and an unladen speed of 22.2 km/h or 13.8 mph.
Axles: The front axle is a rigid, drive axle that carries the majority of the
load, while the rear axle is a robust steering axle with pivotal bearings in
rubber steel mounting. The spherical bearing mounted short tie rods are
adjustment free and guarantee precise and continuous driving in a straight line.
The rear axle is designed to oscillate, allowing all wheels to maintain ground
contact on uneven surfaces, which is crucial for stability. The wheelbase
measures 1700 mm or 66.9 in. The tread width is 1029 mm or 40.5 in for the
front, with alternatives of 1109 mm and 1204 mm, and 904 mm or 35.6 in for the
rear.
Brakes: The service brake system is wet disc brake, providing reliable and
controlled stopping power. The service brake is foot/hydraulic operated. The
parking brake is mechanical, hand-operated, engaging mechanically to secure the
machine when parked.
The electrical system operates on a 12V architecture.
It includes a comprehensive wiring harness connecting all electrical components.
The system encompasses a starter, an alternator to charge the battery while the
engine runs. The dash-mounted instrument display provides gauges and warning
indicators.
Wheel Drive: The Clark GTS30D features a 2-wheel drive
configuration, with the front wheels providing the tractive effort (2x driven
wheels).
Wheels: The forklift uses a 2x/2 wheel configuration, meaning two wheels on the
front axle and two on the rear. The front wheels are the driven wheels. The
machine features a robust frame for enhanced durability.
Tires: This model is fitted with pneumatic tyres as standard (type L). The tyre
size for the front is 28 x 9 x 15 - 14 PR. The tyre size for the rear is 6.50 x
10 - 12 PR. Some units may be equipped with Super Elastic tyres. Optional
configurations include dual or twin tyres on the drive axle with tread widths of
1109 mm and 1204 mm.
The steering system is hydrostatic power steering that eliminates steering
kick-back, making manoeuvring the truck effortless for the operator and reaching
full lock with just a few turns of the steering wheel. The steering axle has
pivotal bearings mounted in rubber steel elements for stable, vibration-free
operation. The spherical bearing mounted short tie rods are adjustment free and
guarantee precise and continuous driving in a straight line. The double acting
steer cylinder ensures precise and direct steering. A priority distributor
