Basic Technical Data: The engine is a four-cylinder diesel with a displacement
of 2179 cc to 2199 cc (2.2 L) or 133 cu in. It produces a rated power of 46 kW
at 2650 rpm, equivalent to 62 hp at 2650 rpm, with alternative sources
indicating 47.8 kW (64 hp) at 2300 rpm. The ISUZU diesel engine uses a DOC
catalyst to reduce exhaust gas emissions without requiring a regeneration
process, reducing downtimes and service costs. The exhaust gas aftertreatment is
carried out during truck operation, unlike DPF systems that require regeneration
downtime. The emission level meets EU exhaust gas emission Stage IIIB
regulations.
Lubrication: The engine employs a forced lubrication system. Routine
maintenance, including oil and filter changes, is mandated at specific hourly
intervals as outlined in the periodic maintenance schedule to ensure longevity
and performance.
Cooling: Engine temperature is regulated by a pressurized liquid cooling system.
Regular inspection of coolant levels and condition, as well as monitoring the
radiator, water pump, and hoses for wear and debris, is part of standard
preventative maintenance.
Transmission: The GTS33D is equipped with a powershift
automatic transmission type HY (hydrodynamic). The transmission provides smooth
gear changes and reliable power transfer for demanding applications.
Travel Speed: This forklift achieves a laden travel speed ranging from 21.2 km/h
to 24.9 km/h (13.2 mph to 15.5 mph), and an unladen speed of 22.6 km/h to 23.7
km/h (14.0 mph to 14.7 mph) depending on configuration.
Axles: The front axle is a drive axle with 2 driven wheels in standard
configuration. The wheelbase is 1700 mm or 66.9 in. The robust steering axle has
pivotal bearings mounted in rubber steel elements. The spherical bearing mounted
short tie rods are adjustment free and guarantee precise and continuous driving
in a straight line. Front tread width ranges from 1029 mm to 1204 mm (40.5 in to
47.4 in) depending on configuration. Rear tread width is 904 mm or 35.6 in.
Brakes: Service braking is handled by wet disc brakes, providing reliable and
progressive deceleration essential for safety when handling loads. The service
brake type ensures consistent braking performance in all conditions. The parking
brake is foot pedal operated.
The electrical system operates at a standard 12 volts,
powering the starter motor, lights, and electronic control units. The system
includes a complete set of lights and safety systems as standard equipment,
including backup alarms and warning lights. The neutral start safety feature
prevents the engine from starting if the gearshift is not in neutral.
The chassis is a heavy-duty, one-piece, fully welded
steel frame constructed from high-strength, welded and formed steel plate that
protects the machine from impact damage and extends its service life. The
integrated hydraulic sump provides cooling for the hydraulic system.
Wheels and Tires: The truck is fitted with pneumatic tires as standard,
providing enhanced stability and traction on various surfaces. The front tires
are size 28 x 9 x 15 - 14PR (28x9x15-14PR). The rear tires are size 6.50 x 10 -
12PR (6.50x10-12PR). The wheel configuration features 2 driven wheels at the
front and 2 steer wheels at the rear. Overall width ranges from 1250 mm (49.2
in) to 1629 mm (64.1 in) depending on configuration.
Steering: The GTS33D features hydrostatic power steering that eliminates
steering kick-back, significantly reducing the effort required to turn the
wheel, especially when the truck is stationary or moving slowly under load. The
system reaches full lock with just a few turns of the steering wheel. The
steering axle has pivotal bearings mounted in rubber steel elements. The
spherical bearing mounted short tie rods are adjustment free and guarantee
precise and continuous driving in a straight line. The double acting steer
cylinder ensures precise and direct steering. The steering column is adjustable
to suit the operator for comfortable operation and easy entry and exit.
The hydraulic system powers the lifting, tilting, and
auxiliary functions such as sideshift. A high-capacity pump provides adequate
oil supply for the upright and the hydrostatic steering. A priority distributor
ensures steering priority in all conditions. A full-flow reverse filter filters
the oil to the tank at each reverse flow. Rough particles are filtered directly
via a suction filter, thereby preventing them from entering the oil circuit,
ensuring a long service life for all hydraulic components.
Load handling is controlled via a load sensitive-response and precise control
valve. A safety valve provides extra safety and prevents an uncontrolled
lowering of the load at all times. The operating pressure for attachments is
maximum 140 bar (2030 psi), and the rated flow for attachments is maximum 35
l/min (9.2 gpm). The hydraulic tank capacity of 47 liters allows the use of
numerous attachments.
