Clark S35D Specifications
The Clark S35D is a mid-capacity pneumatic-tire
forklift engineered to deliver dependable lifting performance, structural
robustness, and consistent operational efficiency in industrial and outdoor
material-handling environments.
As part of the Clark S-Series, the S35D
occupies the upper end of the range with a nominal rated capacity of
3,500 kg (7,700 lb) at a 500 mm (20 in) load centre, positioning it as a
heavy-duty solution for warehouses, distribution yards, fabrication
facilities, lumber operations, agricultural production,
construction-materials handling, and mixed indoor/outdoor applications
requiring stable performance and long machine life. The model integrates
Clark’s well-established design philosophies of reinforced frame
construction, advanced ergonomics, high-visibility mast channels,
simplified maintenance access, and fuel-efficient powertrain options.
The S35D may be configured with one of three industrial engines
depending on market region, emissions compliance requirements, and
customer preference: the PSI 2.4L LPG/gasoline engine, the Ford 2.5L LPG
industrial engine, or the Yanmar 4TNE98 diesel engine. Each powerplant
provides its own torque profile, fuel characteristics, and maintenance
considerations, but all are designed for high durability under
continuous load cycles.
The forklift employs a heavy-duty powershift
transmission, cast-steel drive axle with wet-disc braking, hydrostatic
steering, and industrial-grade hydraulic components engineered for
predictable load control. With its low centre of gravity, stable
wheelbase, and balanced counterweight design, the S35D ensures safe load
handling even at full capacity with high-rise mast configurations. The
machine is built to Clark’s reputation for longevity, maintaining
reliable performance in demanding multi-shift operations.
The S35D is available with three industrial engine
families. All engines are designed for continuous industrial operation, stable
torque delivery, ease of maintenance, and long service intervals. Specifications
below follow Clark’s workshop-manual formatting.
