Hyster H110FT Specifications
The Hyster H110FT is a heavy-duty, counterbalanced
forklift truck manufactured from approximately 2019 to 2025. This sit-down rider
model is engineered for demanding indoor and outdoor material handling tasks
requiring a rated load capacity of 11000 lb or 4990 kg. The machine is available
with multiple engine options, including the Kubota WG3800 LPG engine producing
86 hp and the Kubota V3800 Tier 4 Final turbo diesel engine producing 74 hp.
The Fortens series features the durable powertrain controlled by the Pacesetter
VSM electronic management system with a CANbus communications network. The
electronically controlled DuraMatch transmission is available in 1-speed or
2-speed configurations providing smoother directional changes to eliminate shock
loading.
The Hyster Variable Power Technology features two performance modes, and the
Auto Deceleration System automatically slows the truck when the accelerator
pedal is released, extending brake and tyre life. Additional features include
TouchPoint mini-lever electro-hydraulic controls with on-demand hydraulic
system, powertrain protection system, hydraulic accumulator, 3-function
hydraulic control valve, hydrostatic power steering, and adjustable steer
column.
The Hyster H110FT is a four-wheeled forklift with a load capacity of 11000 lb or
4990 kg at a 24 in or 610 mm load centre. The machine is fitted with pneumatic
tyres as standard, with optional solid pneumatic configurations available. The
tyre configuration is 2x2, indicating two wheels on the front drive axle and two
wheels on the rear steer axle. The transmission type is electronic powershift
with 1-speed forward and reverse as standard, with optional 2-speed
configurations available.
The service weight of the truck without load ranges from 15560 lb to 16246 lb or
7058 kg to 7369 kg depending on configuration. Weight distribution without load
places 6499 lb or 2948 kg on the front axle and 9061 lb or 4110 kg. With load,
weight distribution shifts to 23814 lb or 10802 kg on the front axle and 2944 lb
or 1335 kg on the rear axle.
Basic Technical Data: The forklift is available with
multiple engine options. The Kubota WG3800 LPG engine produces 86 hp or 64 kW at
2200 rpm with peak torque of 221 lb-ft or 300 Nm at 1000 rpm, featuring a
displacement of 3769 cc or 230 cu.in with 4 cylinders. The Kubota V3800 Tier 4
Final turbo diesel engine produces 74 hp or 55 kW at 2200 rpm with peak torque
of 228 lb-ft or 309 Nm at 1400 rpm, featuring a displacement of 3769 cc or 230
cu.in with 4 cylinders. A PSI 4.3L V6 LPG engine option produces 88 hp or 66 kW
at 2200 rpm with peak torque of 210 lb-ft or 285 Nm at 2200 rpm, featuring a
displacement of 263 cu.in or 4310 cc with 6 cylinders. The diesel engine
features a DOC (Diesel Oxidation Catalyst) for emission control.
Lubrication: The engine lubrication system is a forced-feed type, employing a
gear pump to circulate oil throughout the engine block and cylinder head,
ensuring all moving components are adequately lubricated for reduced friction
and prolonged engine life. The system includes a full-flow oil filter to remove
contaminants. The maintenance-free battery system simplifies routine checks.
Cooling: Engine temperature is regulated by a liquid cooling system. This system
comprises a radiator, a water pump, a thermostat, and a cooling fan. The water
pump circulates coolant through the engine jackets to absorb heat, which is then
dissipated as it passes through the radiator core. The powertrain protection
system monitors temperatures to ensure optimal operation.
Transmission: The Hyster H110FT is equipped with an
electronically controlled powershift transmission available in 1-speed or
2-speed configurations. The DuraMatch transmission provides smoother directional
changes to eliminate shock loading and extend clutch pack life. The Hyster
Variable Power Technology features two performance modes for optimal efficiency.
The Auto Deceleration System automatically slows the truck when the accelerator
pedal is released and brings the truck to a stop, significantly extending brake
and tyre life. Standard speeds are 1 forward and 1 reverse, with optional
2-speed configurations available.
Travel Speed: The forklift achieves a laden travel speed of 11.2 mph or 18.1
km/h and an unladen speed of 11.7 mph or 18.9 km/h with 1-speed transmission.
With 2-speed transmission, travel speeds increase to 14.3 mph or 23 km/h laden
and 14.7 mph or 23.7 km/h unladen.
Axles: The front axle is a rigid, drive axle that carries the majority of the
load, while the rear axle is a steer axle designed to oscillate, allowing all
wheels to maintain ground contact on uneven surfaces. The wheelbase measures
82.7 in or 2100 mm. The tread width for standard configuration is 57.1 in or
1450 mm overall width, with wide tread options of 62.0 in or 1575 mm.
Brakes: The service brake system is foot-operated hydraulic type, providing
reliable and controlled stopping power. The parking brake is hand-operated
mechanical type. The hydraulic service brake ensures consistent pedal feel and
effective deceleration.
The electrical system operates on a 12 V architecture
with a maintenance-free battery rated at 475 cold cranking amps, with optional
900 CCA available. The Pacesetter VSM on-board industrial computer controls,
protects and manages all powertrains, ensuring maximum uptime and dependability
with fast and accurate trouble-shooting.
The CANbus communications network enables
reliable operation with reduced wiring complexity. The dash-mounted
instrument display provides gauges and warning indicators. The
powertrain protection system monitors and alerts the operator when
temperatures rise. A hydraulic accumulator is included in the system.
Wheel Drive: The Hyster H110FT features a 2-wheel drive
configuration, with the front wheels providing the tractive effort (2x driven
wheels).
Wheels: The forklift uses a 2x/2 wheel configuration, meaning two wheels on the
front axle and two on the rear. The front wheels are the driven wheels. The
machine features a robust chassis design for enhanced durability in heavy-duty
applications.
Tires: This model is fitted with pneumatic tyres as standard. The front tyre
size is 300x15-20 ply. The rear tyre size is 7.00x12-14 ply. Solid pneumatic
tyres are available for yard applications.
Steering: The steering system is hydrostatic power steering with adjustable
steer column. The minimum outside turning radius is 113.3 in or 2877 mm. The
length from centre of wheel to face of forks is 22.9 in or 581 mm.
The hydraulic system is designed for efficient lifting
and tilting operations with on-demand hydraulic system and 3-function hydraulic
control valve. It operates at an auxiliary hydraulic pressure relief of 2250 psi
or 15.5 MPa for attachments. The hydraulic tank capacity for drain and refill is
17.9 gal or 67.8 L. TouchPoint mini-lever electro-hydraulic controls provide
precise attachment operation. A hydraulic accumulator ensures consistent
hydraulic system performance.
The Hyster H110FT can be equipped with various mast
