Hyster H175FT Specifications
The Hyster H175FT is a heavy-duty, diesel-powered,
counterbalanced forklift truck manufactured from approximately 2019 to 2025.
This sit-down rider model is engineered for demanding outdoor material handling
tasks requiring a rated load capacity of 17500 lb or 8000 kg. The machine is
powered by the Kubota 3.8L turbo diesel engine producing 110 hp or 82 kW,
meeting EPA Tier 4 Final emission standards with a DOC. The Fortens series
features the durable powertrain with DuraMatch transmission providing 3 speeds
forward and 2 speeds reverse.
The Auto Deceleration System automatically slows the truck when the accelerator
pedal is released, extending brake and tyre life. Controlled rollback on ramps
provides maximum control on grades and increases operator productivity.
Additional features include electronic inching, electronic shift control,
controlled power reversal, 3-function hydraulic control valve, hydrostatic power
steering, adjustable steer column, rubber floor mat, Combi-cooler radiator, and

contaminants. The maintenance-free battery system simplifies routine checks.
Cooling: Engine temperature is regulated by a liquid cooling system with a
Combi-cooler radiator that manages both engine coolant and transmission oil.
This system comprises a radiator, a water pump, a thermostat, and a cooling fan.
The water pump circulates coolant through the engine jackets to absorb heat,
which is then dissipated as it passes through the radiator core. The powertrain
protection system monitors temperatures to ensure optimal operation.
Transmission: The Hyster H175FT is equipped with an
electronically controlled DuraMatch powershift transmission featuring 3 speeds
forward and 2 speeds reverse. The DuraMatch transmission provides smoother
directional changes to eliminate shock loading and extend clutch pack life. The
Auto Deceleration System automatically slows the truck when the accelerator
