Hyster H2.50XM Specifications
The Hyster H2.50XM is an LPG-powered forklift that
delivers a compelling balance of power, efficiency, and versatility for material
handling operations. Its core strength lies in the proven Mazda M4 2.0G engine,
a four-cylinder powerplant providing dependable torque and reliability for
continuous use. The machine rolls on pneumatic-shaped tires, offering excellent
stability and traction for varied surfaces.
Operator comfort and productivity are promoted through features like power
steering, a tilting steering column, and a fully adjustable, full suspension
seat. The H2.50XM is equipped with a single-speed Hyster Powershift transmission
with a torque converter and is designed for productive operation across various
applications.
This model is equipped with a range of Vista 2-stage limited and full free lift
and 3-stage masts designed for good visibility and smooth, durable operation. It
rolls on pneumatic-shaped tires. The distance from the centre of the drive axle
to the fork face is 470 mm. The wheelbase is 1,625 mm.
The total unladen weight of the truck is 4,099 kg. When fully laden, the axle
load distribution places 5,899 kg on the front axle and 700 kg on the rear axle.
In an unladen state, the front axle load 1,736 kg, and the rear axle load 2,363
kg. The overhead guard height is 2,163 mm. The seat height is 1,040 mm. The
towing coupling height is 365 mm.
The Hyster H2.50XM is powered by the Mazda M4 2.0G
engine, a robust and reliable powerplant specifically designed for LPG
industrial operation. It is a four-cylinder engine with a total displacement of
2,000 cc. This engine produces a rated power of 30 kW at 2,800 rpm according to
ISO 1585 standards.
The engine features an electronic ignition system. Lubrication is provided by a
pressure-fed system ensuring all moving components are adequately lubricated.
Cooling is managed by a liquid-cooled system designed to maintain optimal
operating temperatures.
Transmission: It is fitted with a single-speed Hyster
Powershift transmission with a torque converter, which provides excellent
tractive and travel speed performance. The ratio with the Mazda engine is
3.12:1.
Travel Speed: The forklift achieves a laden travel speed of 17.7 km/h and an
unladen travel speed of 19.2 km/h.
Axles: The drive axle is located at the front. The rear steer axle is robust
with proven steer axle design.
Brakes: The service brake system is hydraulic with self-energising and
self-adjusting brakes. Brakes have a 310 mm drum diameter and a 405 cm2 lining
area.
The electrical system is engineered to reliably support
the engine, safety features, and lighting. It operates on a standard 12-volt
architecture. The system powers the starter motor, engine control systems, and
all essential lighting components for safe operation.
The chassis provides a rigid and durable foundation,
constructed from heavy-gauge steel with fully welded frame construction to
support all major components under load stress. Wheels and Tires: The H2.50XM is
fitted with pneumatic-shaped tires with 2 front and 2 rear wheels.
Front: 7.00x12
Rear: 6.00x9
Track Width:
Front: 960 mm (variable to 1126 mm)
Rear: 967 mm
Drive Configuration: The vehicle utilizes a 2-wheel drive configuration, with
the two front wheels serving as the driven wheels.
Steering: The steering system on the Hyster H2.50XM is a power steering system
that provides smooth and effortless control during low-speed maneuvering and in
confined spaces. The tilting steering column allows each operator to select the
most comfortable driving position.
The hydraulic system is responsible for powering the
lifting, tilting, and any auxiliary functions. The system has a fluid capacity
of 30.4 litres and features a double gear main pump and a full-time, full-flow,
10 micron return line filter.
The working pressure for attachments is 155
bar. The oil flow for attachments is 67 L/min. A safety valve prevents
uncontrolled lowering of the load. The mast tilts forward by 6 degrees
and backward by 5 degrees.
The standard mast configuration is available as a
2-stage limited free-lift, 2-stage full free lift, or 3-stage full free lift
mast depending on application requirements. The 2-stage masts have flush-faced
channels to reduce the chance of load damage during operation.
