and longest-reach machine in JCB’s rigid-frame Tool Carrier range, engineered
for applications that demand exceptional vertical and horizontal reach combined
with the versatility of a skid-steer-style attachment interface.
Designed for construction, infrastructure
development, industrial material handling, and specialized rental fleet
operations, the 508-66TC is intended for tasks that would traditionally
require a crane while retaining the flexibility and mobility of a
telehandler.
With a maximum rated lift capacity of 8,800 lb (4,000 kg), a maximum
lift height of 65 ft 7 in (20.0 m), and a maximum forward reach of 52 ft
1 in (15.9 m), the 508-66TC offers outstanding placement capability at
extreme height and distance. The machine is equipped with front
stabilizers, Automatic Rear Axle Stabilization (RAS), a high-output JCB
EcoMAX engine, a heavy-duty powershift transmission, permanent
four-wheel drive, and epicyclic axles.
Its reinforced high-tensile steel boom,
