JCB 509-42 Specifications
The JCB 509-42 Loadall is a mid-size, high-reach
telescopic handler engineered for demanding construction, industrial material
handling, infrastructure projects, and rental fleet applications where increased
lift height and strong load stability are required without moving into the size
class of large stabilizer-equipped machines.
With a maximum rated payload of 9,000 lb (4,084
kg), a maximum lift height of 42 ft (12.8 m), and a maximum forward
reach of approximately 28 ft (8.53 m), the 509-42 offers an excellent
balance between compact maneuverability and extended vertical and
horizontal reach.
Built on JCB’s proven Loadall platform, the 509-42 incorporates the
Dieselmax 4.4 L turbocharged engine, permanent four-wheel drive,
heavy-duty epicyclic axles, and a four-speed powershift transmission.
The reinforced high-tensile steel boom, advanced hydraulic system, and
multi-mode steering provide precise load control and excellent site
maneuverability.
Designed to comply with ASME B56.6 stability
standards, the 509-42 emphasizes operator safety, predictable load
handling, ease of maintenance, and long service life in harsh operating
environments.
The JCB 509-42 is powered by the JCB Dieselmax
