Komatsu FD115-8 Specifications
The Komatsu FD115-8 is a high-capacity diesel-powered
forklift engineered for industrial operations requiring exceptional strength,
long-term durability, high lifting stability, and consistent performance under
continuous heavy-duty use. Positioned above the FD100-8, the FD115-8 extends
Komatsu’s capabilities into heavier load categories, supporting 11.5-ton (25,300
lb) applications.
This model is designed for steel mills, port
terminals, manufacturing plants, construction material depots, precast
concrete yards, heavy logistics operations, and mining support
environments where maximum uptime and high torque output are essential.
Powered by the Komatsu SAA6D107E-1 engine, a proven heavy-equipment
diesel powerplant, the FD115-8 provides the torque, response, and
efficiency required for demanding lifting cycles. This turbocharged and
aftercooled 6.69-liter diesel engine integrates electronic fuel control,
a high-strength block design, advanced cooling, and robust lubrication
to support extended multi-shift job cycles. Komatsu’s heavy-duty
powershift transmission, planetary reduction axle, and wet-disc braking
system ensure stable performance, long service intervals, and reduced
operating costs.
The forklift features a reinforced welded-steel chassis, high-capacity
hydraulic lift system, ergonomic operator station, and wide visibility
mast design. Its structural components are engineered to maintain
rigidity, stability, and balance under extreme load conditions. Designed
for longevity, the FD115-8 delivers predictable performance, low
vibration, and long operating intervals with simplified service access.
