Ford 740 Loader
The Ford 740 loader fits Ford 4500 industrial tractors.
The loader has double acting bucket and lift hydraulic cylinders. The Ford 740
front-end loader has a max lift height of 129 in (3265 mm) at pivot pin and max
bucket dump angle of 42 degrees. The lift capacity is 3750 lbs (1700 kg) to max
height at pin, and boom breakout force is 6000 lbs (2730 kg).
The rated cycle times are 5.5 seconds
raising to maximum height, and 3.7 seconds maximum bucket dumping. The
Ford 740 loader is equipped with the following buckets: a 72" (1830 mm)
standard material bucket with a rated capacity of 27 cu.ft (0.77 m3), or
86" (2185 mm) light material bucket with a rated capacity of 30.5 cu.ft
(0.87 m3).
